<100개의 평화, 100개의 바람> 작품소개 전시는 평화의 소망을 담은 깃발 상징물로 표현된다. 크게 4개의 파트(구성)로 구성되며 바람(Wind, Hope)이라는 중의적인 주제를 5명의 작가가 어우러진 물결로 평화누리 일대에 설치될 예정이다.

About the artwork 100 Pieces to Peace on the 100 Winds The exhibition presents flags as symbolic tokens containing the hope of peace and reconciliation. The line-up mainly consists of four sections, each highlighting “Wind” and “Hope” elements to introduce the artworks of five artists as waves of change all over the Pyeonghwa-Nuri Park.

<제임스 채>

재임스 채 작가의 작품

 

주제: 색色 색은 물질적 존재를 총칭하는 동시에 명확하지 의미를 내포한다. 빨강과 파란색은 작가의 고유적인 정체성이자 시대의 현실을 담는 균형의 도구로서 담겨지게 된다. 참여작가: 제임스 채 James H. Chae

Theme: Color Colors differentiate otherwise identical objects and imply a certain meaning. For James H. Chae, red and blue are seen as part of his unique identity and as a balanced tool that reflects the reality of the times. Participating artist: James H. Chae

<용세라>

용세라 작가 작품

주제: 흐름에서 율동으로 깃발의 이어짐은 우리 민족의 역사와 DMZ라는 공간 속에 공존공영한다. 연결과 단절의 흐름은 한(恨)을 내뿜 듯 리드미컬한 율동으로 표현된다. 참여작가: 용세라 Sera Yong

Theme: From the Flow to the Rhythm An array of flags flying in the wind coexists with the history of the people in the DMZ. The flow of connection and disconnection is expressed rhythmically as if it is an outburst of a strong emotion. Participating artist: Sera Yong

채병록 작가 작품

주제: 다시 바라보기 '전쟁과 파괴를 넘어 평화와 생명-비무장지대'展의 작품 원화를 바탕으로 하여 그래픽, 텍스타일로 재해석한다. 참여작가: 채병록 Chae Byungrok / 김재이 Jaei

Theme: Seeing again These artworks are graphic and textile adaptations of the original paintings in the Beyond War and Destruction, To Peace and Life-the Demilitarized Zone exhibition. Participating artist: Chae Byungrok and Kim Jaei

안은미의 춤은 한국 전통의 경계를 넘어 세계와 소통하고자 하는 열망을 보여준다. 북한의 춤-미학은, 우리가 함께 만들어 갈 새로운 미래의 춤-세계에서, 예상치 못한 양태로 자라날 무궁한 힘을 지닌, 아시아 공통의 문화적 자산이다.

Ahn Eun-Me’s dance knows no boundaries and extends beyond the Korean tradition and border. The dance moves pursue the future of dance we will make together. North Korean dance has the potential of growth as part of Asian common cultural assets.

Ambiguous Dance Company shows more than the body; they reveal the music and the dance moves within. They believe it is one true language of accuracy. Their dance is a good example of bursting the boundaries of genres in contemporary dance. The dance company seeks a new style of choreography with their unique musical interpretation and movements in order to better communicate with the audience through the language of the dance.
